Nevada Power is proud to participate in the McGruff Truck Youthwatch program, which teaches school children to recognize McGruff truck decals on Nevada Power vehicles. If a child is in danger, he or she can wave the vehicle down and get assistance from our trained drivers. Drivers evaluate the problem, contact authorities, and stay with the child until help arrives. The program gives children an added measure of security and enhances existing community efforts to keep neighborhoods safe. McGruff public service announcement
Download McGruff tips to help parents keep their children safe. ��Nevada Power participates in this program along with 13 other agencies including local law enforcement, all forming the Clark County McGruff Truck Youthwatch Coalition. Together, the coalition of agencies has over 1500 vehicles throughout Clark County that are always prepared to help children in danger. The National Crime Prevention Council licenses this program and is well known for its McGruff motto, "Take a Bite out of Crime."
