We encourage everyone, especially young people, to be safe around electricity and to use energy wisely. One of the ways we do this is through our educational materials, which provide students with opportunities to learn about electrical safety and conservation.
Fun, Interactive Websites
This is a great place to learn about saving and conserving electricity and how to safely use it as well. Kids, parents and teachers are invited to use the guides and experiments for elementary and middle school children. We have two modules below:

Attention Teachers! FREE Educational Material for Students
For the new school year, we’re pleased to offer free booklets, along with a teacher’s guide, to strengthen students’ understanding of electrical safety and energy conservation. The publications will be distributed to third and fourth grade students to deliver important safety and conservation messages, while helping teachers present basic reading and math skills. In addition, our books are complemented by our interactive Electrical Safety Kids' World and Energy Efficiency Kids' World websites, which feature exciting graphics and interactive games.
This new school outreach program incorporates energy education activities into an exciting learning experience. This information is designed to encourage specific conservation practices and to increase public awareness of energy and energy-related issues.
