Air Conditioning Incentives for Homebuilders (Southern Nevada)
For 2008, NV Energy is offering incentives for homebuilders who install qualifying high efficiency central air conditioners (not window units) and heat pumps. In order to qualify for the incentive, homebuilders must have their new equipment properly installed by a participating HVAC contractor that verifies proper refrigerant charge and airflow and duct sealing measures using NV Energy quality installation certification program.
Heating Incentives for Homebuilders (Northern Nevada)
NV Energy is offering its 2008 Heating Incentive Program for homebuilders who install gas furnaces or boilers. In order to qualify for the incentive, homebuilders must have their new equipment properly installed by a participating HVAC contractor.
Air Conditioning Incentives for HVAC Contractors (Southern Nevada)
For 2008 NV Energy is offering incentives for participating contractors who perform refrigerant charge and airflow (RCA), and duct testing and sealing (DTS) for the new home and existing home markets to help promote high efficiency air conditioning in Nevada.

Nevada Sure Bet
The Sure Bet Project offers prescriptive incentives for lighting, cooling, motors, refrigeration and vending machine controls. In addition, custom incentives are offered for any measure not covered under the prescriptive project that results in verifiable energy or peak-demand savings, and it also offers building optimization and small commercial direct install incentives and services. Non-Profit Conservation Grants
NV Energy is now accepting applications from non-profit agencies to fund weatherization and energy-efficiency retrofit projects to help reduce electric energy-related operational costs. To qualify for these grants an agency must be a NV Energy customer in good standing, a 501(c)(3) physically located within the company's service area, and the money must be used to fund energy-efficiency retrofits or weatherization projects.
