Third Party Protection

To help prevent disconnects due to misplaced or forgotten electric bills, Nevada Power offers a third-party notification service. We notify the party you indicate (a friend, relative or agency) when your electric service may be in jeopardy because of an unpaid bill.

Green Cross (Life Support Equipment)

Are you or permanent members of your household dependent on electrically operated medical equipment in use 24-hours a day? Once enrolled, you will receive advance notification of scheduled electric outages for service maintenance and in the event of an unexpected power outage, we will take the steps necessary to restore power as quickly as possible.

Assistance for Sensory Impaired

Hearing and/or speech impaired customers can communicate directly with our Customer Service department by phone if you have teletype transmitting equipment (TTY). Call (702) 402-5080, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Senior and Disabled Customers

We at Nevada Power are concerned about our elderly and vulnerable customers. If there is a permanent resident living in your home that is seriously ill, disabled or 62 years of age or older, please call us so we can update your account information.

Nevada Energy Connection

Nevada Energy Connection is comprised of two programs operated by the State of Nevada designed to give energy and weatherization assistance to qualified households.

• Energy Assistance Program (EAP)
  Eligible households are awarded assistance once each program year. The assistance is based on the household's gross income and annual energy use.

• Weatherization Assistance
  Helps qualified persons to reduce their energy costs by installing various energy conservation measures.

Project REACH

Project REACH (Relief through Energy Assistance to Prevent Customer Hardships) is a Nevada Power funded program designed to help vulnerable adults over the age of 62 years, medically fragile or Reserve and National Guard members who meet the income guidelines.

Comfort Savings

Comfort Savings is a FREE residential energy efficiency program for income qualified Nevada Power customers who own or rent their house, condo or mobile home.
